Frequently asked questions about our photography and webstore ordering processes • How long will it be before I can view my child’s photos? After the last scheduled day of photos at your preschool, it will take approximately 7 to 10 business days before your child’s gallery will be available for you to view online. At this time, you will have two weeks to make an order at an early bird price, and without needing to pay postage, before orders will be printed and sent to the preschool for collection. Make sure that you register (at no cost) to receive an SMS and/or email when the galleries go live! • How do I view my child’s photos? A link to each Childs gallery will be sent directly to you via email and SMS. If you do not receive a link to the gallery or have only received one child’s link and you have more than one child attending the childcare centre, please email Playgroup Photos directly at: orders@playgroupphotos.com.au • What happens if I don’t order during the 14 day ‘Limited Discount’ period when the galleries first become available to view? You will still be able to purchase your images anytime within the next 10 months; however, the package prices will be slightly more expensive as we offer the discount when processing all orders together. You will be required to pay standard postage costs for your order to be delivered to your postal address within 28 days from receipt of your order. • When will my photos be delivered? If you got your order in during the ‘limited discount’ 14-day period following the opening of the galleries, your photos will be returned back to the preschool for collection. We aim to deliver the orders back to the centre within two weeks after this period has ended. However, if you placed your order to be delivered to your postal address, please allow up to 28 days for delivery to your registered postal address. • My child missed photo week, because they were sick, or we were on holidays etc. Are we still able to get their photos take? Unfortunately, if your child is not in attendance on photo week, due to high demand we are usually unable to offer another time to attend the centre for catch up sessions. • Can my older/younger child attend for sibling photos during photo week? Your other children are more than welcome to come and have a sibling photo with their brother or sister/s. We do however ask that you arrange for this directly with us at playgroup photos, as we will need to be aware of their visit. It cannot be assumed that the educators or centre manager/s have passed on any messages regarding your intentions, and as we are offering a service to our schools, it is common courtesy to give us the opportunity to allow extra time into our photographer’s mornings for this to occur. If you would like to make a booking to bring in your child, please allow no less that 48 hours’ notice and please direct your intentions to enquiry@playgroupphotos.com.au Or alternatively call us on 0426 061 855, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. • What types of payment do you accept? At present we accept PayPal, Visa and MasterCard. Digital Downloads & Files • What’s included in the digital package? The Digital Downloads include all images you see in each gallery for a single child, including any sibling images your gallery may contain, excluding the class image. For privacy reasons we are not allowed to offer digital copies of the group / class photos. • Are my images watermarked when I download them? No. Only the preview images in the webstore are watermarked – after purchase the watermark is removed. • Can I purchase individual digital images? Yes. Digital Files are also available as single image downloads for $37.95. • Is it worth me contacting Playgroup Photos to ask for a further discount on my photo choices? We at Playgroup Photos pride ourselves in the quality of workmanship and images that we capture of every child. Our images are available for you to view and purchase at a reasonable price, without charging you a generalised sitting fee. From time to time throughout the calendar year, we will offer discounts or specials on certain products. However, these spot specials will not be applied to our packages at any time, and there will be no rain-checks. Pricing at all other times remains as displayed. |
